All our sausages are made on the premises and tied in the traditional way using natural casings.
We offer a range of gluten free sausages for those on gluten free and carb free diets. In addition we can substitute rusk for potato or corn flour for a gluten free alternative on a further range of sausages …actually, come to think of it, we can make anything if you tell us what your likes and dislikes are! We have most of our sausage range in stock all the time, but like all our products, if you would like something specific, please do let us know and we can have it in stock in a couple of days.
Traditional Pork Sausages: This recipe has been handed down three generations and is always proving a winner with young and old. An ideal breakfast sausage or great on the B.B.Q.
Traditional Pork Chipolatas: The same secret recipe as the traditional except only half the size.
Jumbo Sausages: For the real man. This is a monster. Double the size of the traditional and just as tasty, perfect for the B.B.Q.
Pork and Mustard Sausages: Using pork and whole grain mustard doesn’t make this hot it just leaves a nice sensation on your lips…. Just like that very first kiss.
Pork and Apple Sausages: A great pork sausage ideal for breakfast with a definite undertone of bramley apples. Slightly sweet and very definitely succulent, this is a real winner with kids.
Pork with Sun dried Tomato and Basil Sausages: A brilliant sausage with flavours of sun dried tomato and basil punching their way through the pork with every mouthful.
Pork and Garlic Sausages: Not for the faint hearted. This sausage has a serious garlic problem.
Pork with Lemon and Herb Sausages: With a careful balance of lemon, this is a wonderfully refreshing sausage. No good in gin though!
Pork with Sage and Red Onion Sausages: This sausage is a real find. The red onion really gives this sausage a sweetness.
Pork and Chilli Sausages: Minced pork mixed with chillis – not crazy hot but you know you’ve had them!
Pork & Onion Sausages: Minced pork and chopped onions. Lovely in a casserole.
Cumberland Sausages: This is served in approximately 1/2kg rings. Having a little more black pepper it has a small bite. When cooking its rather nice with a dollop of our Apple Sauce.
Merguez Chipolatas: Beef and lamb with garlic, paprika and cayenne pepper – little sticks of dynamite!
Chorizo Sausages: Pork, red and green peppers, tomato, garlic and chopped chillies.
Beef and Whole Grain Mustard Sausages: Prime cuts of matured beef minced with whole grain mustard.
Pork and Leek Sausages: Pork and leeks mixed with breadcrumbs which lighten the texture
Pork and Cranberry Sausages: Pork mixed with cranberrys makes this sausage slightly sweet
Venison and Red Wine Sausages – when in season.
Black Pudding: Made to a traditional scottish recipe since 1860. The perfect accompaniment to the full English. Sold as slices that can be cut to any thickness.
Homemade Black Pudding: Made to Paul’s secret recipe and sold as whole sausages tied up in the traditional horseshoe shape.
